Hello watermelon.

37 weeks. 3 weeks to go until my due date (October 20th). My next appointment is this coming Tuesday October 2, the appointment after that is Wednesday October 10, then (if I am still pregnant) October 18. If baby has not arrived by due date, I have scheduled induction on October 30.

So basically she can come anytime in October! My friend and coworker Jacki says he cannot arrive until after October 5 at 5pm. My temporary replacement for work will not start until October 15, so if I went into labor on the 5th she would only struggle for one week. I still have an inkling that she will come on 10-11-12. Nana (my mother) says she cannot come between October 23-27 because she will be at a mandatory conference out of town.

All that being said- we are ready. The swing is setup and in the living room. The pack and play is setup in our bedroom - it has a diaper changing station and a newborn napping bed on the top. The nursery is finally complete!!!!! (See pictures below) ... all of her clothes are washed and put away. Her bouncy seat is ready. Carseat bases are in both cars and carseat installed in my car. Strollers are put together. Deep freezer in garage gives us more room for storage and back-stock of breast milk.

Just waiting on her to be ready to play in the world. She thoroughly enjoys playing and rolling in my belly- she was moving around so much this morning that JR was able to see it! (He says "whoa alien baby!!!")

Make sure your phones are charged in October- never know when we will call!!! :)
